Connecting Sage 50 / Sage Intacct

Export TimeTracker data in formats compatible with Sage 50 and Sage Intacct

TimeTracker supports two Sage products: Sage 50 (for small to mid-size firms) and Sage Intacct (for larger organizations with enterprise accounting needs). The two work differently, so here's what to expect from each.

Sage 50

The Sage 50 integration is a file-based export rather than a live API connection. TimeTracker generates an export file in a format Sage 50 can import.

  1. Go to More > Integrations > Sage 50.
  2. Configure the export settings — map TimeTracker fields to Sage 50 fields (accounts, items, etc.).
  3. When you're ready to sync, run the export to generate the file.
  4. Open Sage 50 and import the file using Sage's standard import tool.

Since this is a manual export/import process, plan to run it at regular intervals (e.g., weekly or at the end of each billing cycle).

Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is an enterprise-level cloud accounting platform. The integration is more involved than Sage 50 due to Intacct's multi-entity structure and advanced GL mapping.

Contact eBillity support for setup assistance with Sage Intacct. The support team will help configure the connection, map your chart of accounts, and set up the sync to match your organization's accounting structure.

Which Sage Product Are You Using?

  • Sage 50 (formerly Peachtree) — Desktop accounting software. Use the file-based export.
  • Sage Intacct — Cloud-based ERP. Contact support for guided setup.

Both integrations are configured from More > Integrations.
