User Achievements & Gamification

Motivate consistent time entry with automatic milestones and recognition

Getting every team member to log their time consistently is one of the hardest parts of time tracking. User Achievements takes a different approach — instead of nagging, it rewards. Employees earn milestones for habits like entering time daily, and the positive reinforcement tends to stick better than reminders.

User Achievements

The User Achievements page lets administrators configure badges, progress points, and goals to motivate time tracking.

How It Works

  • Employees earn badges and points for actions like entering time on time, logging time every day of the week, and submitting timesheets before deadlines.
  • A leaderboard shows top performers across the team, creating friendly competition.
  • Progress is visible to each employee on their own dashboard.

Enabling Achievements

  1. Go to Admin > Worker Achievements.
  2. Toggle the feature On.
  3. Configure which achievements are active and what point values they earn.
  4. Click Save.

When It Helps

  • Teams with late time entry habits — If your Friday email reminders aren't working, gamification provides a daily nudge without the nagging.
  • Large teams — Leaderboards create peer accountability. Nobody wants to be the person with zero points.
  • New employees — Achievements help new hires build the time-entry habit from day one.

This feature is entirely optional and can be toggled off at any time if it doesn't suit your team's culture. Some teams love the competition; others prefer to skip it. No pressure either way.
