User & Activity Reports

Measure team productivity, utilization rates, and activity breakdowns

Understanding how your team spends their time — not just how many hours they log, but on what — helps you make better staffing, pricing, and capacity decisions. These reports show utilization rates, activity breakdowns, and team-level patterns.

Available Reports

  • Utilization Report — Shows what percentage of each employee's time is billable vs. non-billable. This is a key metric for professional services firms — it tells you how much of your team's capacity is generating revenue. Low utilization might mean too much admin overhead or not enough client work.
  • User Activity Report — Shows login history, time entry patterns, and overall engagement. Useful for seeing who's logging time consistently and who might need a reminder.
  • Attendance Report — Tracks hours worked per day for each employee. Helps identify patterns like consistent late starts, unusually long days, or absences.

Running These Reports

  1. Go to Reports from the left sidebar.
  2. Select the report you want.
  3. Set your filters — date range, user group, or specific users.
  4. Click Run Report.

Making the Most of Utilization Data

The Utilization Report is most useful when you run it regularly (weekly or monthly) and track trends over time. A single week's data might be misleading, but a month-over-month view shows whether your team is becoming more or less efficient. Export the data to Excel if you want to build your own trend charts.
