What Employees See vs. What Admins See

Know exactly which features are available for each role so you can set the right expectations

When you add team members to TimeTracker, one of the first questions is: what will they actually see? The answer depends on the role you assign. Understanding this upfront helps you set the right expectations — employees won't ask about features they can't access, and admins will know which tools are at their disposal.

TimeTracker shows different features depending on your role. This article compares the two primary experiences.

Why This Matters

If an employee reports they can’t find a feature, it may be because their role doesn’t have access. Check their user role in Admin > Manage Users before troubleshooting further.
