Understanding the Timesheet Totals Bar

Read the color-coded totals at the bottom of your timesheet to spot issues before submitting

Applies to: Workforce · Premium · LawBillity

Before you submit your timesheet, it's worth glancing at the totals bar at the bottom. It's designed to help you catch issues at a glance — missing hours, uneven days, or time that hasn't been assigned to a project.

At the bottom of the Weekly Timesheet, you’ll see a summary section with daily totals, row totals, and three color-coded bars.

Color
Status
Meaning
Orange
UnBilled
Time has been entered but not added to any invoice
Blue
Pre-Billed
Time is on a draft invoice (not yet finalized)
Green
Billed
Time is on a finalized invoice and locked from editing

These statuses help you quickly see how much of your tracked time has been invoiced. For a detailed explanation, see the Understanding Billing Statuses article.
